The breakfast served was creatively delicious and diverse.
Finding Borgo Fontana was a real challenge, as the old center is a complicated maze of narrow streets. Once I finally arrived, I was faced with steep stairs leading to my room on the second floor. It was particularly difficult for me carrying my heavy suitcase, and I found myself wishing for some guidance on navigating these tricky aspects beforehand.

Rosa prepared the most delicious traditional breakfast! The cozy room had a lovely old town view, but carrying my heavy bag up the stairs was a struggle. Totally worth it though! 😅

Staying at Borgo Fontana felt like a delightful escape. The room, a Superior Double Room, was spacious and beautifully decorated—definitely a standout. I loved the cozy old town view, and it made for a picturesque backdrop. Breakfast was a highlight. Rosa prepared an incredible spread each morning. Fresh fruits, warm dishes, and superb cappuccinos made every meal special. Rosa's responsiveness was impressive too, always quick to answer my questions. A minor inconvenience were the steep stairs, which posed a challenge with my luggage, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Limited hot water was an issue. showers were quick due to it running cold after about 10 minutes. Still, the charm of the location and the hospitality outweighed these small setbacks.

beautiful little square, steep and narrow stairs, easy access to sightseeing
Navigating those steep and narrow stairs is a pain, especially after long days exploring!!! A better solution for luggage transport might be needed!!! It could also use some upgrade in room size for comfort!!!

Family with children, great stay!
Rosa prepared a nice breakfast every morning, we were lucky to have gluten-free options for one of our kids. The air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, which was a lifesaver after a long day out!
It wasn't cheap, but the quality matched the price, I'd say.

I stayed in the Superior Double Room for 2 nights, and it was super cozy and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially after exploring the town. The bathroom was spacious, which was a nice surprise. We had to tackle some steep stairs, but it added to the charm a bit. Plus, Rosa's breakfast spread was really impressive! Overall, the room and stay felt great, just a bit tight with larger luggage.
